Overview

The Sharjah Children's Reading Festival, held under the auspices of the Sharjah Book Authority and in collaboration with Bazm e Urdu, is pleased to present the Pierrot Troupe from India in their hilarious play,"Akbar The Great Nahi Rahe".   

The play tells the comical and highly entertaining story of the famous Emperor Akbar The Great, who interacts with Ashoka The Great, Alexander The Great, and an Indian Statesman up in heaven, resulting in his journey back to India after a gap of 450 years! The story, presented in a satirical and humorous manner, promises to take the audience on a non-stop, 90-minute roller-coaster of laughter.  

Moreover, the play features the debut of Pakistan's young heartthrob, Ahmed Shah, who will be showcasing his acting skills in the UAE for the first time ever!
