Sharjah Light Festival

The Sharjah Light Festival is a spectacular event held every February for 2 to 3 weeks in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

What began as a small spark has now grown into an event that attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors annually.

The 14th edition of the Sharjah Light Festival will take place from 5 to 16 February 2025.

The festival blends creative and innovative light technology, artistic ingenuity, and exclusively composed music, featuring masterful illuminations projected onto iconic landmarks in Sharjah, extending beyond the city to the east coast towns of Dibba, Khorfakkan, and Kalba, taking visitors on an extraordinary cultural journey.

Each year, the festival adopts a theme that ties together the various light displays and installations.

The themes often draw inspiration from Sharjah’s cultural heritage, the natural world, or the fusion of modernity and tradition.

Many of the light projections and interactive installations are poetic and inspired by local culture, traditions, and stories, while others incorporate nature, space, or modern art, all of which are both beautiful and thought-provoking.

With the announcement of 2025 as the Year of Community, the Sharjah Light Festival embraces the essence of unity and social connection with its dazzling theme: “Lights of Unity”.

Light Village

The Light Village opens its doors during the Sharjah Light Festival, offering an interactive experience that includes a dedicated F&B area, retail, games zone, entertainment, light installations, and much more.

Visitors can enjoy from over 50 mobile trucks serving a variety of family favorites, fusion cuisine, burgers, street food, coffee, desserts, traditional specialties, along with numerous retail options, all at this spectacular venue, located just outside Sharjah’s University City Hall.
